50 Years of Research
Pioneers in the realm of energy efficiency within the built environment, LBNL’s Building Technology & Urban Systems group works with industry, government and policymakers to develop innovative, sustainable building technologies and urban systems. LBNL came to Tenfold with the task of creating a narrative that demonstrates for policymakers and other researchers how the national labs lay the groundwork for industry to invest in and develop energy-efficient technologies.
Demonstrating Impact
Tenfold worked with the lab to identify key scientific publications from nearly 50 years of research, devise and place them within a research framework, and then illustrate how national lab material-science discoveries and inventions have led directly to the development and dissemination of new building technologies.
